MockFox is the toolbox we wanted while building and testing APIs: a fake backend in seconds, a URL that catches webhooks, a WebSocket you can poke at, and the small utilities — JSON, JWT, UUID, regex — that you reach for twenty times a day.
Describe an API in plain English and MockFox generates the endpoints and realistic sample data. Every mock gets a public URL with CORS enabled, so you can call it from a front-end, a test suite or an AI agent.
Utilities run in your browser. Mocks and webhook captures are stored only as long as you need them and expire automatically. Clearly labeled sponsors keep it free.
